Sam and his dad Henry are great supporters of the club, with Sam being awarded the Judge's Choice award in the 2024 Axa Insurance national herds competition. The judge, Adam Lawson was very impressed by Sam's "great knowledge of the breed and his herd.", in Adam's view, this knowledge is contributing to the development of "a very good herd of cows."
