At the recent Irish Pure Friesian Club AGM, there were some changes in the officer ranks
Our AGM of the club was held in the Horse and Jockey Hotel on 14/12/2022. Guest speaker on the night was Donagh Berry of ICBF. Rachel White & Donal Carey of IHFA and John Fogarty of Progressive Genetics also attended.

Paddy Quealy replaces Martin Crowe as club chair, but Martin's contribution will continue to be felt as he takes on the new role of vice chair. Paddy thanked Martin for his incredible service during his 19 years as chairman of the club from its inception.
The other big change on the night was the election of Gearoid Maher as treasurer, stepping in to the position held so well and reliably for years by Conor O'Leary. Thank you to Conor for wise management of the cheque book over the years.
Several initiatives were discussed on the night and since, one of which was a commitment by the club to host more on farm meetings, events and tours in 2023 and beyond. This initiative is in motion already, so keep a close eye on our events section to keep notified of upcoming get-togethers.
